We are seeking an experienced SAP Archiving Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for an enterprise SAP data archiving initiative as part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define the client's archiving strategy, governance framework, and target architecture while ensuring compliance, security, and long-term scalability.

Duration - Sept 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2026

Work Mode - Hybrid

Location - Close to Toronto Airport

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advisory support in developing the client's overall enterprise archiving strategy and roadmap.
- Define the scope of the archiving program, including business, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish an archiving governance framework, including policies, standards, roles, and responsibilities.
- Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, regulatory, and data retention requirements.
- Define the enterprise data ownership model, including business ownership, stewardship, and sign-off processes.
- Design the end-to-end OpenText archiving architecture for SAP environments.
- Define and implement OpenText integration patterns with SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise applications.
- Design authentication and authorization models to ensure secure access to archived information.
- Develop high availability, backup, disaster recovery,



and business continuity strategies for the archiving platform.
- Validate and confirm OpenText solution compatibility with SAP S/4HANA and future roadmap requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP functional, Basis, infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide architecture guidance, design reviews, risk assessments, and implementation recommendations.
- Support testing, deployment planning, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience delivering SAP data archiving and information lifecycle management solutions.
- Strong expertise with OpenText Archive Server, Extended ECM, or OpenText archiving solutions for SAP.
- Experience developing enterprise archiving strategies, governance models, and operating frameworks.
- Proven experience designing OpenText architectures integrated with SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Solid understanding of SAP data retention, compliance, records management, and information governance.
- Experience designing authentication, authorization, and secure access models.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity best practices.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and SAP Basis teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and advisory consulting skills.
- Experience supporting SAP transformation or S/4HANA implementation programs.
