Join the County of Grande Prairie as a Seasonal Vegetation Management Herbicide Applicator, starting immediately until October 31st, 2026. Work outdoors spraying weeds and brush while ensuring safety and compliance. This seasonal position focuses on vegetation control on County-owned properties, operating from Monday to Friday with potential weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include assessing spray areas, operating vehicles and equipment, and maintaining accurate records. Safety training will be provided, and a valid driver's license is required. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and document areas needing herbicide application
- Safely operate and maintain spraying equipment
- Identify and monitor target species during spraying
- Record daily and monthly spraying activities
- Perform chemical spill containment when necessary Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Experience with weed identification preferred
- Pesticide Applicator’s License or Authorized Assistant Certificate preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
