Senior Accountant

Milton, ON | Fully On-Site | $80,000–$100,000

Envy Consulting Group is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Accountant on behalf of a boutique public accounting firm in Milton. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced public accounting professional who can independently manage year-end engagements, prepare corporate and personal tax returns, work directly with clients, and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage compilation and year-end engagements for privately held businesses
- Prepare financial statements, working papers, and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare and review T1, T2, T3, and GST/HST returns
- Complete reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Respond to CRA correspondence, reviews, and client inquiries
- Manage multiple client files from planning through completion
- Provide practical accounting and tax guidance to clients
- Review work completed by junior accountants and bookkeepers

Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience within a Canadian public accounting or CPA firm




- Strong experience with compilation engagements and year-end files
- Hands-on experience preparing T1, T2, and GST/HST returns
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and tax requirements
- Experience managing client relationships and competing deadlines
- Familiarity with CaseWare, CaseView, Taxprep, Profile, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- CPA designation or active progress toward completion is preferred
