Pay Details: $81,600 - $115,200 CAD

This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Databricks Administrator with Python Development experience to support enterprise data and analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python application development, and Databricks platform administration, along with experience modernizing and migrating legacy data workloads to Databricks. This role requires a hands‑on technical experience who can develop scalable solutions, administer Databricks environments, optimize platform performance, and assist in platform migration initiative.

Databricks Administration (Primary Focus) Administer and support enterprise Databricks environments.

Access Controls and Permissions

Cluster Policies

Monitor platform performance, utilization, and costs.

Implement governance, security, and compliance controls.

Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize cluster configurations.

Python Development (Primary Focus) Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise‑grade Python applications and data processing solutions.

Develop reusable Python frameworks, libraries, APIs, and automation tools.

Develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions.

Write clean, maintainable,



and well‑documented code following software engineering best practices.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years supporting enterprise Databricks administration.

5+ years of Python development experience.

Experience with Linux Operating System

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
