Required Experience

- 8+ years of professional experience in application development or systems analysis with a robust focus on Java backend development
- Extensive experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications
- Hands-on experience building distributed data processing systems, ETL pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions
- Strong experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security, Hibernate, and JPA
- Experience designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, REST APIs, and gRPC
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Experience leading technical delivery of complex backend initiatives
- Experience with Test-Driven Development, unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews

Technical Skills
- Core Java 11, 17, or 21
- Advanced multithreading and concurrency
- JVM memory management and garbage collection
- OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and design scalable backend solutions
- Develop high-quality, production-ready Java applications
- Design and implement distributed backend and data processing systems
- Lead technical delivery of complex backend initiatives
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and concurrency
- Diagnose and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and real-time streaming applications
- Implement REST APIs and distributed system integrations




- Champion Test-Driven Development and code quality standards
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Mentor engineering team members on architecture and clean coding practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise backend solutions
