In this role, reporting to the Leader of Utilities Infrastructure Planning, you'll lead complex planning for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater systems.
Your responsibilities involve managing major projects, coordinating technical input, and contributing to policy development. Engage with stakeholders and junior staff while driving innovation and best practices in utility infrastructure planning. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure planning initiatives
- Manage complex projects and prepare business cases
- Contribute to council reports on utilities planning
- Enhance standards and practices in the UIP team
- Support communication with BILD and regulatory bodies Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering and 8 years of experience
- Professional Engineer licensure with APEGA
- Solid knowledge of water and stormwater systems
- Proven project management and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior staff effectively Drive strategic initiatives in Calgary’s infrastructure planning as a seasoned Senior Planning Engineer.
