- Reviewcorrespondence from CIPO and foreign associates and prepare clearreporting letters to clients;
- Conducttrademark searches using the Canadian trademark database and common lawsources to assess registrability and availability, and draft relatedsearch reports;
- Draftand report on responses to Examiner’s Reports from CIPO;
- Maintain,organize, and update docketing records and deadlines;
- Supportsenior agents and lawyers with Canadian and foreign opposition andexpungement proceedings;
- Assistwith file management, electronic filing/spiking, pre-bills, and precedentmaintenance; and




- Contributeto other trademark and administrative tasks as needed.

What You Will Bring - 5+years of experience as a trademark clerk, paralegal, or searcher;

- Postsecondaryeducation;
- Progresstoward a Class 3 license as a Registered Canadian Trademark Agent in Trainingissued by CPATA is an asset;
- Exceptionalattention to detail;
- Strongorganizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Confidencemanaging deadlines in a fast-paced skilled environment;
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and legal docketing software, preferably PATTSY; and
