Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables with professionalism and efficiency.

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, serving techniques, and food preparation basics
- Ability to work well in a team workplace and communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
