Position: Server / Canning Line Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Location: Stettler Brewing Company – Stettler, AB

Stettler Brewing Company is looking for energetic, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team! This is a unique hybrid role that combines front-of-house hospitality with brewery production. You'll spend some shifts providing exceptional service in our taproom and others assisting with packaging our craft beer on the canning line.

ResponsibilitiesTaproom & Customer Service

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve beer and other beverages responsibly while following Alberta liquor regulations.
- Educate guests about our beers, brewing process, and seasonal offerings.
- Process payments using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting taproom.
- Set up, transparent, and sanitize tables and service areas.
- Restock glassware, merchandise, and supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work closely with the kitchen and brewery team to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Canning Line & Brewery Assistance

- Assist with setting up, operating, and monitoring the canning line.
- Prepare cans, lids, packaging materials, and labels.
- Pack finished beer into trays and cases.
- Palletize, move, and organize finished product.
- Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation of brewery equipment and production areas.
- Perform quality checks during packaging to ensure product standards are met.
- Assist with inventory organization and general brewery tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous serving, hospitality, manufacturing, or production experience is an asset but not required.
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain it).




- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in both customer-facing and production environments.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and once a week packaging days.
