Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and providing correct change
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving any issues with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations




- Assist in food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of POS systems, Micros POS experience a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and cash handling tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or boxes of supplies
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
