- Full rate of pay $36.71per hour following 90 days of service

- Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
- Health & Safety conscious, actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment including inspection ofall areas of the property for safety issues and takingimmediate corrective action
- Service and repair duties of guestrooms, public areas, and heart of house
- Minor equipment repairs,HVAC servicing and filter changes
- Caulking washrooms, bathrooms and repair and replacement of bathroom fixtures, andminor plumbing
- Daily swimming pool test and chemical balancing when assigned
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment
- Assist guests regarding hotel equipment e.g. TV's as needed
- Active participation in our environmental program and sustainable operations
- Daily system checks when assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- - Previous maintenance experience in areas such as painting, plumbing, tiling and carpentry, across a large commercial building or similaris preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible andreliable, able to work safely with minimum supervision and be able to prioritize tasks
- Excellent guest service skills with an eye for detail and mechanical aptitude needed
- Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good command of the English language required
- Class 4 ticket an asset
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts and holidays
