Overview

Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. This energetic position involves coordinating the receipt and dispatch of shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help us meet customer demands swiftly and accurately, contributing to our reputation for excellence in warehouse distribution and e-commerce fulfillment.

Responsibilities

- Accurately receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting goods against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely, selecting appropriate shipping methods, and ensuring proper labeling for timely delivery.
- Utilize order pickers and order fulfillment techniques to gather items efficiently for customer orders or internal needs.
- Maintain organized storage areas, perform regular inventory counts, and update records in AS400 or other warehouse distribution systems.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, support order picking accuracy,



and ensure seamless shipping & receiving operations.
- Follow safety protocols during load & unload activities and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.

Qualifications

- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory control software.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of packaging standards and techniques suitable for various product types.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and load & unload activities.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to support order fulfillment accuracy.
