Shop Assistant / General Service Support

Using proven industry systems and procedures, we accurately inform and educate our clients while ensuring the safety and maintenance of their vehicles through inspections, full-service maintenance, and repairs.

Our shop is equipped with modern tools, up-to-date technology, and a computerized management system that allows our team to work efficiently and effectively. At LAD’S Auto, our goal is to save our clients time and money while delivering honest, professional automotive service.

We work on a wide variety of domestic and foreign vehicles, including cars, trucks, and some medium-duty vehicles — both new and old.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Shop Assistant to support our technicians and service team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an interest in the automotive industry, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work workplace.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

- Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office




- Physically fit and capable of performing the duties required for the position
- Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive operations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Required Credentials
- Valid high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Must provide a current driver’s abstract upon request
- Must be bondable
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize shop equipment
- Shuttle customers as required
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts
- Clean and wash customer vehicles
- Assist with general shop upkeep and cleanliness
- Follow shop safety standards and procedures
- Complete additional duties as assigned
