About Us

We are an independent optical store located in Tsawwassen Mills. We carry a wide selection of prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and premium frame brands. We're looking for a creative social media marketer who can help grow our local brand, increase foot traffic, and ultimately sell more glasses.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands how to market fashion and retail products through social media—not someone who only schedules posts.

You should be comfortable creating engaging short-form videos, photography, and social media campaigns that showcase our products and connect with local customers.

Responsibilities

- Visit our store 1–2 times per month to capture content.
- Create Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and Facebook content.
- Photograph new frame collections and in-store displays.
- Plan and schedule social media content.
- Write captions and use relevant local hashtags.
- Manage Instagram and Facebook accounts.
- Run and optimize Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns.
- Recommend promotions and seasonal marketing ideas.
- Monitor performance and provide a simple monthly report with key metrics.

Ideal Experience We're especially interested in candidates who have worked with:
- Fashion or apparel brands
- Beauty or cosmetics




- Retail stores
- Lifestyle brands
- Eyewear or optical businesses (a plus, but not required)

- Instagram & Facebook marketing
- Reels and short-form video editing
- Photography and videography
- Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools
- Meta Ads Manager
- Copywriting for social media
- Content planning and scheduling

Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days, we'd like to see:
- Consistent, high-quality content published every week.
- Increased engagement and local brand awareness.
- Growth in followers from the local community.
- More customers mentioning they found us through social media.
- Increased in-store traffic and glasses sales.
