Job Summary

Bluewater Family Support Services is launching CARES, a new specialized foster care support program for children and youth who have experienced developmental trauma. We're hiring a Program Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, support foster families, and help build this program from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coach a small team of direct support staff
- Deliver training to caregivers and staff on trauma-informed care and de-escalation
- Provide real-time consultation and coaching to foster parents
- Oversee documentation and reporting in line with MCCSS/CAS requirements
- Collaborate with CAS, schools, and clinicians on case planning
- Track outcomes and contribute to program evaluation
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, progress notes, and program reports in compliance with organizational policies
- Facilitate training sessions on topics such as special education needs, medical terminology, or pediatric care for staff or community members

Requirements





- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) required
- Explicit Broad Sector Check (Ontario)
- Experience delivering training or facilitating groups
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Solid computer skills
- Openness to learning and coaching
- Creativity and flexibility in problem-solving
- Availability for flexible hours, including occasional evenings

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
