The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), is a core member of the Juravinski Cancer Program. The SLP provides management of swallowing, voice and speech impairment for patients with cancers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with SLP staff, patients, families and inter-qualified team members across multiple oncologic site groups. Master's level degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Three years of recent experience in the area of dysphagia assessment, management, and counselling • Minimum one year experience with cancer care • Experience with Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing required
- Experience with program development is an asset • Able to work independently • Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with health care professionals and referring providers
- Able to organize and prioritize multiple demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skill acquisition
- Commitment to teaching and providing learning opportunities for students
