Position overview: Paragon is looking for a highly motivated individual for a Spot Check Supervisor position within our North York team. The role of a Spot Check Supervisor is to travel to different client locations throughout the region to conduct patrol checks and submit reports.

The schedule for this position are after hours and requires the successful candidate to be able to work evenings and overnights, weekends included. The pay rate for the position starts at $18.00/HR.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Conduct spot checks at various properties within the GTA, conducting full interior, exterior, parking, and mechanical room patrols based on the site's post orders.
- Write and submit full spot check reports after every single check completed for submission to the client.
- Drive a marked company vehicle, being one of the faces of the company while operating the vehicle, and ensuring excellent customer service to all.
- Follow a strict schedule for spot checks, ensuring checks are being completed within the requested time frame by the clients.
- Maintain the marked company vehicle with regular fueling and cleaning, taking into account that vehicles are one of the most valuable assets of Paragon Security.
- Work alone with minimal supervision to a high standard.

Minimum Requirements:





- Ability to work overnights as Spot Check Supervisors work after-hours; however people with 24/7 availability in case operational needs arise.
- Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence and clean driver abstract.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.
- Physically fit to patrol and respond to various emergencies.
- Police Foundations or related law enforcement post-secondary program graduates preferred.
- 1 year of security experience.
- Comfortable driving a company marked patrol vehicle, obeying all traffic laws and with due regard for other people and the company's assets.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision and representing the company with a high level of integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and acceptable typing skills.
- Working knowledge of Provincial Offences Act, Criminal Code of Canada, fire prevention, crowd management techniques, crime scene preservation and basic investigative techniques.
