Become a STEM Instructor this fall at MakerKids! Guide kids through exciting tech projects in coding, robotics, and more during afterschool and weekend classes. MakerKids is looking for enthusiastic instructors passionate about technology and working with children.
As a STEM Instructor, you will lead kids aged 6-13 through engaging projects using tools like Micro:bit, Scratch, and Minecraft. We're particularly interested in candidates with past experience with children and knowledge of game development. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to adapt your schedule to your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach fun STEM classes in Coding and Robotics
- Lead project-based learning using Scratch, Python, and Roblox
- Adapt lessons for various skill levels
- Create a positive and inclusive setting
- Communicate student progress with parents Requirements:
- Experience working with children
- Student or graduate in STEAM fields
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification required
- Criminal Background Check needed
