You'll work on Graphs, Foundation Models, and RL We're building a next-generation AI & robotics platform that gives heavy machines the ability to think, perceive, and act on their own. At its core is Collaborative Autonomy, our edge-AI framework for real-time co-planning and co-operation across navigation and manipulation systems, always with a human in the loop. This isn't a lab demo — it's headed straight into production.
You'll work directly on the AI algorithms and models that makes heavy machines think, perceive, and act. This is hands-on, end-to-end development on a platform that will be deployed in the real world within a near-term horizon. This is an ideal position for a master's or PhD student who wants more than a line on their CV.
You'll contribute to real R&D;, work with a driven team, and see your code run on physical hardware. The position is based in Aerospace Mechatronics Lab.
The culture is startup-driven through and through!
The technology developed here will be commercialized by Kuiper AutonomI, our startup incubated at the McGill Engine, co-founded by Professor Inna Sharf and her Postdoctoral Researcher Ehsan Yousefi. :
