About The Role

Support Worker - Pembroke Dock - Full Time 39 hours - £13.45 to £12.75 per hour.

Orbis Education and Care are seeking a dedicated and passionate support worker to join our compassionate and energetic team at our Stockwell Road Home. We want you to be part of our mission to support children and adults with autism and complex needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
- Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well‑being of each person.
- Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team.
- Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote independence, self‑esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.

Requirements

- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.




- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
- A full UK Driving Licence to support our individuals with community activities.
