In this role, you will work closely with residents, developing care plans, providing emotional support, and facilitating day-to-day activities. Commitment to clients with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges is essential, alongside collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client interviews for care plan preparation
- Provide input on care plans to achieve resident objectives
- Monitor resident progress and discuss future interventions
- Assist in daily living activities and emotional support
- Maintain detailed client files and documentation Requirements:
- Diploma in social work or community social services (asset)
- 1 year experience with adults facing developmental/intellectual disabilities
- Solid crisis management skills
- BC Class 5 driver’s license required
