This position involves working closely with ophthalmologists, managing surgical tools, and ensuring the operating room is prepared with precision. You’ll thrive in a supportive culture while developing specialized skills in advanced ophthalmic technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the ophthalmologist during procedures
- Prepare the operating room and tools with attention to detail
- Anticipate surgical actions and follow established protocols
- Develop expertise in intraocular procedure tools and technologies
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in the operating room Requirements:
- Interest in health care and high-tech devices
- Experience in similar roles (e.g., optometric assistant)
- Proficient with Microsoft 365; EMR knowledge a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
