We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Maker to work in a 2 person chef team to serve 24 seats 6pm -10pm. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes that delight our guests and uphold our commitment to food excellence. Your expertise in sushi preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations will ensure a memorable dining experience for every customer.

Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri.
- Bring your own recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to strict food safety protocols
- Handle raw fish and other ingredients safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Ensure all food service activities comply with health regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation,
particularly in sushi making or Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards
- Experience in serving customers or food service environments preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cooking techniques related to sushi ingredients and presentation
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
