Home to the Kluane First Nation people, Kluane Lake school is one of 11 Yukon schools that have joined the newly established First Nation School Board (FNSB) in the Yukon. Southern Tutchone is the traditional language of the Kluane First Nation people.

Qualifications and Experience
Please clearly demonstrate on your cover letter and resume how you meet the following qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with school aged students is preferred
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain an authentic relationship with the local Yukon First Nation people, community members, community Elders, and families, promoting greater community involvement in school-based activities and educational programming;
- Eagerness to learn about and integrate the local Yukon First Nation culture & worldview, and the language in the classroom;
- Able to follow and carry out instructions with little supervision, and,
- Communicates clearly and respectfully.
If you are a certified teacher, please include:
- Recent teaching reports or practicum reports;
- Transcripts from your program;
- A copy of the credential received after completing your program, and,
- A copy of your teaching certificate
