Richmond Jewish Day School is seeking educational innovators committed to providing high-quality instruction in grade K-7 in BC Curriculum. We have a position for a Spanish / Hebrew Teacher, Gr 5-7 (Level 2) starting September 2024 until the end of June 2025. This is a twelve blocks per week position,(0.425 FTE).
Duties And Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism in all job-related situations including interactions with students, parents, colleagues and community members
- Build robust relationships with all stakeholders
- Design, implement and differentiate engaging lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student performance using a variety of educational instruments
- Prepare periodic reports pertaining to student progress and instruction
- Maintain high-expectations for student learning
- Communicate students’ needs to all stakeholders
- Manage classroom procedures through consistent, well-articulated expectations
- Promote a positive school environment that enhances student learning
- Maintain a positive and collaborative climate across grade levels
- Proactively participate in school community programs and events
- Perform other duties as assigned
