Become a Teaching Assistant for Inclusive Education at the University of Manitoba! Contribute to student learning through instructional support and grading in a vibrant educational setting. The Department of Educational Administration, Foundations, & Psychology is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for course EDUA 4000. Ideal candidates are graduate students with teaching experience, particularly in K-12 or B.Ed programs.
Responsibilities include preparing materials, grading assignments, and consulting students during scheduled times. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend orientation and planning meetings for course staff
- Prepare instructional materials such as assignments and tests
- Mark assignments and provide feedback on student work
- Consult with students for academic support and guidance
- Participate in lectures and help with special projects Requirements:
- Graduate student preferred in relevant field
- Empathetic with solid communication skills
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset
- Enrollment as a full-time student at the University of Manitoba
- Valid study permit for international students Support student success in Inclusive Education as a vital part of the teaching team.
