Make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults as a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver, BC. This full-time role focuses on providing support, education, and skills training to residents in need. In this temporary position, you will report to the Site Manager and align your work with Lookout's mission and philosophy.
Your primary responsibilities include assisting tenants with independence and stability while addressing their basic needs. Expect a schedule of Sunday through Thursday, with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tenant intakes and assessments to identify needs
- Develop service plans and provide crisis intervention
- Support individuals with financial and medication management
- Maintain records and statistical data for evaluation
- Collaborate with volunteers and practicum students Requirements:
- Diploma in Community Social Service required
- Minimum two years related experience
- First Aid and Food Secure certificates if applicable
- Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
