LNG Canada is seeking a Terrestrial Environmental Specialist for our Kitimat facility. This role emphasizes environmental expertise in land ecosystems and compliance, supporting our pivotal Phase 2 Project. As an experienced qualified, you will lead field studies, ecological assessments, and compliance monitoring across diverse terrestrial environments. Your skills will directly contribute to minimizing environmental impacts and protecting biodiversity throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct baseline surveys and habitat assessments
- Monitor regulatory compliance and minimize ecosystem impacts
- Implement environmental management plans and mitigation strategies
- Collect, analyze, and report environmental data
- Liaise with regulators and Indigenous groups Requirements:
- Over 8 years’ experience in major project environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Knowledge of BC-specific regulations valued
- RPBio or EP designation preferred
