We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver/Flatbed driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient towing services while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various types of tow trucks and equipment. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Respond to towing requests in a timely manner, ensuring safe transport of vehicles.
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform vehicle recovery and roadside assistance tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear information about services rendered.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of towing activities, including vehicle details and service times.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate towing operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and mechanical systems is a plus for troubleshooting issues on-site.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs or adjustments on towing equipment when necessary.
