The Opportunity Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Intermediate/Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team in our Calgary office. In this role you will be responsible for transportation projects with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing Providing project technical leadership role with a team in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection as required.





Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases.

Regular communications with clients to confirm expectations throughout all project phases.

Delivering projects within identified schedules.

Mentoring and coaching a team of engineers and technologists.

Engaging in a team-oriented work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices. Does this sound like you? Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution, with key transportation electives or transportation project experience.

15+ years of progressive transportation experience.

Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Committed team player and the ability to work independently. Valid driver’s licence.

Ability to travel within Alberta.
