As we continue to scale, we are seeking to expand our team with a dynamic Senior Product Manager (Investment Brokerage)

Position Overview The Treasury and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day treasury, digital asset custody, liquidity, reconciliation, and operational control activities supporting the firm's crypto asset business.

This role will manage the movement, safeguarding, and reconciliation of client and operational assets across multiple custodians, wallet infrastructure providers, and trading venues. The Treasury and Operations Manager will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Finance, Trading, Technology, and Operations to ensure client assets are handled securely, accurately, and in accordance with internal controls and applicable regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will bring strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and an understanding of digital asset infrastructure, treasury controls, and regulated financial services operations.

Key Responsibilities Digital Asset Wallet Operations & Custody Administration Administer digital asset wallets and custody infrastructure across platforms including Fireblocks, Coinbase, BitGo, and other approved custodians or service providers

Manage client deposit wallets, operational vault accounts, and related wallet structures in accordance with established custody and segregation requirements

Execute and oversee wallet whitelisting, transaction approvals, wallet policy configuration, and authorized address management

Conduct periodic user access and entitlement reviews to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and adherence to internal access-control standards

Maintain accurate records of wallet configurations, approvals, authorized personnel, and custody-related changes

Deposit Sweeps & Fund Flows Oversee the timely sweep of client digital asset deposits from designated deposit wallets into operational or custody vault accounts

Ensure incoming funds are accurately attributed to the appropriate client accounts and reflected in internal systems and sub-ledgers

Monitor sweep thresholds, transaction limits, and approval workflows to ensure transfers comply with established treasury controls

Investigate delayed, failed, or incorrectly attributed transactions and coordinate resolution with relevant internal teams and external vendors

Monitor end-to-end fund flows to identify operational bottlenecks, control weaknesses, or settlement risks

Reconciliation Perform and oversee daily reconciliation of:

On-chain wallet balances;

Custodian account records;

Internal operational and accounting ledgers;

Client sub-ledgers; and

Trading and settlement records

Investigate reconciliation breaks promptly and coordinate corrective actions with Finance, Operations, Technology, and external counterparties

Escalate unreconciled or aged items in accordance with defined service-level agreements and escalation procedures

Maintain complete reconciliation records and supporting evidence for audit and regulatory review

Identify recurring reconciliation issues and implement process or system improvements to reduce operational risk

Liquidity & Treasury Management Monitor operational, settlement, and client withdrawal liquidity across custodians, trading venues, and approved digital asset infrastructure providers

Forecast short- and medium-term funding requirements based on trading activity, client deposits and withdrawals, settlement obligations, and operational needs

Execute liquidity rebalancing between approved custodians, wallets, and trading venues in accordance with established limits and approval authorities

Maintain minimum liquidity buffers and other treasury thresholds to support uninterrupted trading and client withdrawal obligations

Monitor concentration and counterparty exposure associated with operational asset balances

Escalate potential liquidity shortfalls or settlement risks to senior management, Risk, and Finance

Staking Operations Support the operational administration of approved digital asset staking activities through providers such as BitGo, Figment, or other approved platforms

Coordinate asset delegation, staking instructions, unstaking activity, and related operational processes

Track staking rewards, validator activity, fees, and expected settlement timelines

Reconcile staking rewards and yield against custodian records, internal ledgers, and the general ledger

Work with Finance and Compliance to ensure appropriate accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping for staking activity

Compliance & Financial Crime Escalations Serve as the primary treasury and operational point of contact for transaction-related compliance escalations

Review and coordinate responses to Know Your Transaction (KYT) alerts generated through platforms such as Chainalysis

Support investigation and resolution of Travel Rule exceptions through platforms such as Notabene





Coordinate treasury actions arising from fraud alerts or investigations managed through platforms such as Unit21

Work closely with Compliance to execute approved transaction holds, wallet restrictions, freezes, releases, or other remediation actions

Ensure treasury actions arising from compliance escalations are appropriately documented and supported by clear approval trails

Escalate unusual, high-risk, or time-sensitive matters in accordance with established procedures

Regulatory, Audit & Examination Support Prepare treasury-related information and supporting documentation for regulatory reporting and examinations, including requirements applicable to CIRO-regulated activities

Support external financial statement audits, internal audits, SOC examinations, regulatory reviews, and other assurance activities

Provide documentation supporting client asset segregation, custody arrangements, wallet balances, transaction activity, and control effectiveness

Maintain comprehensive evidence trails for treasury transactions, approvals, reconciliations, access changes, and exception management

Respond to audit and regulatory information requests in a timely, accurate, and organized manner

Assist with remediation of treasury-related findings and track corrective actions through completion

Treasury Controls, Procedures & Governance Own and maintain treasury-related standard operating procedures, workflows, approval matrices, and control documentation

Establish and continuously improve controls over wallet access, transaction approvals, liquidity transfers, reconciliation, and client asset movements

Ensure appropriate maker-checker controls and segregation of duties are maintained for sensitive treasury activities

Partner with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Internal Audit to identify and mitigate treasury and operational risks

Participate in control testing, risk assessments, incident reviews, and remediation initiatives

Monitor adherence to treasury policies and escalate control exceptions or breaches appropriately

Identify opportunities to automate manual treasury processes while maintaining appropriate oversight and control

Vendor & Counterparty Management Act as the primary operational relationship contact for treasury and digital asset infrastructure providers, including Fireblocks, Coinbase, BitGo, Chainalysis, Notabene, Unit21, and other approved vendors

Coordinate operational service reviews, issue escalation, incident management, and vendor support

Monitor vendor service performance, availability, processing timelines, and operational issues

Coordinate system upgrades, configuration changes, new functionality, and change-management activities with internal stakeholders

Participate in vendor due diligence, risk reviews, and business continuity planning as required

Maintain current documentation relating to operational contacts, escalation pathways, system dependencies, and service procedures

Treasury Reporting & Management Information Produce daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reporting covering, as applicable:

Client and operational asset balances;

Custodian and wallet balances;

Deposit and withdrawal activity;

Liquidity positions and buffer levels;

Outstanding settlement obligations;

Reconciliation breaks and aged exceptions;

Staking balances and rewards;

Significant treasury or operational incidents; and

Key risk and control indicators

Provide timely reporting and analysis to Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and senior management

Identify significant trends, exceptions, or emerging risks and communicate appropriate recommendations

Support the development of dashboards, metrics, and management information to improve visibility into treasury operations

Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Support Act as a key operational subject matter expert for digital asset treasury, custody, settlement, and client asset processes

Partner with Technology and Product teams on the implementation and testing of new digital asset products, custody capabilities, and operational workflows

Support new asset listings, custodian integrations, wallet deployments, and operational readiness assessments

Participate in incident response and business continuity activities relating to treasury, custody, or settlement operations

Provide guidance and training to team members involved in treasury and operational processes

Support broader operational initiatives and projects as required Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, brokerage operations, banking operations, payments, custody, digital assets, securities operations, or a related financial services environment

Prior experience in a regulated financial institution, broker-dealer, investment dealer, fintech, cryptocurrency platform, or digital asset business is strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience with cash, securities, or digital asset reconciliation and settlement processes

Experience managing operational controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and exception management

Familiarity with digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure such as Fireblocks, Coinbase, BitGo, or similar platforms is highly desirable





Knowledge of blockchain transaction flows, wallet architecture, on-chain transactions, and digital asset settlement processes is an asset

Familiarity with blockchain analytics, Travel Rule, fraud monitoring, or transaction-monitoring platforms such as Chainalysis, Notabene, or Unit21 is an asset

Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, or operational control assessments is preferred

Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with operational reporting, reconciliations, and large data sets

Knowledge & Competencies Strong understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, reconciliations, settlements, and operational risk

Strong knowledge of internal controls, segregation of duties, maker-checker principles, and approval governance

High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling client assets and financial transactions

Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex reconciliation or transaction issues

Ability to work effectively across Finance, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Trading, and Operations

Robust judgment and escalation skills, particularly when dealing with high-value transactions, operational incidents, or compliance concerns

Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive operational requirements in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to develop clear procedures, controls, and operational documentation

Comfortable working in an evolving regulatory and technology setting

Preferred Experience Experience within the Canadian securities or investment dealer industry

Familiarity with CIRO requirements relating to client assets, books and records, internal controls, custody, and regulatory reporting

Experience supporting cryptocurrency trading, digital asset custody, staking, or blockchain-based financial products

Experience participating in new product launches or implementation of treasury and custody infrastructure
