The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill two Treatment Specialist 2 positions, located at Copper Lake/Lincoln Hills School in Irma, Wisconsin.
Position Summary This position develops and coordinates the overall treatment programming for youth; providing direct service and intervention to youth; preparing accurate reports and coordinating plans and arrangements for referral of youth to Mental Health facilities; providing consultation, orientation and training to treatment team members and institution staff. This position will also be responsible for providing staff directed activities to the youth Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 12-63 with a starting pay of $33.62/hour - $44.54/hour, plus excellent benefits.
Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required. Job Details
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application. The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have experience: Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing case management
Delivering Evidence Based Programming (EBP) to reduce the risk of recidivism to the served population
Designing and developing a structured framework to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
Coordinating with multiple disciplines to develop, implement,
and monitor the after-care interventions to programs.
