Duties
Physiotherapists should expect to perform many different duties, which can include:
- Assessing the client’s injury or surgical site and performing functional tests on the muscles and joints.
- Develop individualized treatment plans while administering therapeutic exercises,
hands-on mobilization, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, range of motion, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing further injury
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a physiotherapist and must have insurance
- Minimum 1-year experience in manual therapy, for acute and chronic conditions
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
A physiotherapist certificate licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is required. NOTE Part Time 2-3 days per week
PAY: Between $67-$73
