Join Active Start Childcare as a Van Driver managing transportation for children in our Out of School Care program at Country Hills. Ideal candidates will have experience driving for schools or daycare and a Class 4 driver's license. This role requires someone who is motivated, adaptable, and professional, with a strong ability to engage with children.

You'll need a clean driver's abstract, good communication skills, and ideally have or be willing to obtain Level 1, 2, or 3 Alberta Child Care Certification. The role's focus is on creating a safe and nurturing workplace for children during transport and at various planned activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Drive children safely to and from school
- Supervise children during pick-ups and drop-offs




- Engage children during field trips and at the centre
- Build positive relationships with families and colleagues
- Follow Alberta regulations and Active Start’s policies Requirements:
- Class 4 driver's license is mandatory
- Prior childcare/daycare experience preferred
- Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
