Your Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Coordinate inspection requirements for plant & customer needs with advanced quality and production group(s) Develop the required CMM/Scanner programs to conduct full dimensional part layouts and capability studies with appropriate reports for PPAP submissions based off customer/internal requirementsProvide CMM/Scanner verifications/statistical analysis to support problem investigations Create and maintain proper documentation of inspection resultsMaintain CMM/Scanner in good working condition and perform validation checks during and after machine usePerform inspection using a variety of other precision measurement equipment (i.e. micrometers, height gauge, calipers, indicators, etc.) to ensure conformance to specificationsConduct annual dimensional part layouts and capability studies on current parts as required Verify dimensional accuracy of tooling and check fixtures to the design and drawing specifications as requiredMaintain weekly and monthly reporting metricsAll other relevant duties as directedOther tasks as assigned by the Director/Manager of quality to meet customer requirements Key Requirements:Grade 12, GED, or equivalent 2+ years previous technical experience operating CMM's, scanners or 3D scannersExtensive knowledge of GD& T, Blueprint & CAD data interpretation 5 years related experience in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing 3 years' experience with stamping, welding and assembly processesComputer efficiency and systems knowledge in all required areas (i.e. MCOSMOS, Windows, Excel, Word, Polyworks) Marwood is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive company culture.
