Responsibilities:Ownership - demonstrate accountability, drive and initiative in daily activities projectsInvestigation / Problem Solving - gather and present data to reach objective conclusions and solutionsPeople Skills Professional - respectful and courteous in all forms of communication while enforcing discipline, conflict management, coaching and development Decision Making - use logical reasoning in day to day activities to make independent decisions to meet expectations of Production Manager Professionalism - maintain distance in working relationships, use maturity and confidentiality when dealing with delicate issuesExperience / Knowledge - knowledge of industry, company, specific work area. display eagerness and team work, ability to give and receive constructive criticism.Provide direction and support to Team Leaders and AssociatesCoordinate manpower planning, time off approvalsAssist in the planning and implementation of continuous improvement of proceduresIdentify training needs, provide training, implement training, and document this training (utilize "Team Support", MOS Review, formal training through Human Resources)Observe and assist in the evaluation of employee performance to ensure compliance with standardsFacilitate daily start up meetings to discuss safety, quality, production etc.Provide ongoing feedback and coachingAccurately complete and maintain all relevant and appropriate documentsEnsure associates complete accurate control cards, Marwood inspection standards, fork lift checks, etc.ProductionAttend daily meetings as requiredEnsure daily shipment requirements are met on time Assist in the development or revision of work practices5S and assist in Kaizen activitiesUtilize Lean Principals to continually improve processesComplete Performance Evaluations accurately and on timeQuality Perform LPA'sEnsure non-conformances are contained & dispositioned at end of shift Effectively complete 5Y's, CAR's Enforce Ensure non-conformances on control cards are signed off & non-conformance reports are completedFollow Marwood quality systemSafetyEnsure all Health & Safety policies & procedures are followedAssist in WSIB areas, administer First Aid and complete reports as requiredComplete discipline and Health & Safety inspectionsAll other relevant dutiesSkills/ Capabilities:Good communication skillsContinuous learning,
