Canada in this vital advisory role that concentrates on environmental impact through waste management. You will conduct audits, provide recommendations, and train store employees to meet Action Reduction™ Certification standards. This position also involves collaboration with municipalities to strengthen local recycling partnerships and ensure optimal waste recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Support assigned IGA stores through pre-existing contracts
- Conduct on-site audits of waste recovery systems
- Train store employees on waste sorting and software usage
- Implement weekly food donation programs at IGA stores
- Award Action Reduction™ Certification based on performance Requirements:
- Experience in waste management and customer service
- Strong environmental education or outreach background
- Comfort with independent travel and valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
