We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welders to join our Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine required equipment and welding method through applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry and welding techniques.
- Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Repair worn components and equipment attachments.
- Other duties as they arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
- 2nd Year, 3rd Year or Journeyman Required
- CWB SMAW or FCAW Certified Welder, with experience in GMAW
- Shop repair work and fabrication, heavy equipment repairs, and modification experience preferred.
- Experience in fitting and layout of assemblies to very tight tolerances and ability to read and build off drawings.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset
Compensation:
- $25-$38 Per hour based on experience and qualifications.
- Weekly Averaging Agreement in place, 4 – 10 hour shifts + overtime depending on work load
