We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welding & Fabrication Shop Laborer to join our Team.
Position Summary Job Type: Full-time, permanent position
Full-time condensed work week: 10 Hours/day, 4 Days/week. Overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Grinding metal for weld preparation
- Daily shop cleaning
- Machinery preventative maintenance
- Assist welders and machine operators as required
- Parts/delivery driving (drivers abstract required)
- Operate forklift
- Operate metal saw
- Operate presses
- Banding/packaging materials for shipping
- Empty garbage bins
- Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.
- Other duties as they arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Driver’s license and ability to provide a drivers abstract upon request.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Steel toed work boots (all other PPE provided by employer).
- Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.
- Experience with fabrication & welding is considered an asset.
