Professional / Experienced A Snapshot of Your Day
Working at the Mont Rothery Wind Farm, located near Murdochville, Quebec, you will be responsible for a range of essential activities both in and out of wind turbines. In-turbine tasks include performing proactive and reactive maintenance, such as electrical and hydraulic servicing, as well as supporting technical operations like basic commissioning of products and systems, integrating components into larger systems, and troubleshooting. Out-of-turbine responsibilities involve supporting warehouse operations, including inventory management and housekeeping, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure smooth site operations.
This position operates under the daily direction of the Lead Technician, reporting to the Site Operations Manager.

- Capable of meeting the physical and mental demands of the role, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them for personal and professional growth.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, site technicians, and external vendors to ensure smooth daily operations at the wind farms.
- Actively promotes a safety-conscious work environment, prioritizing safe practices and always adhering to EHS guidelines and procedures.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of all required documentation.
- Willing to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed,
and flexible to up to 15% travel.
What You Bring
- Hold a college diploma in a relevant field and must adhere to safety regulations, including meeting a body weight restriction of 265 pounds or less.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical and mechanical environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
