Asset Protection
Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for the planning, deployment, and performance of London Drugs’ physical security systems and strategies.This role leads the
Asset Protection team, overseeing security design, product protection, and the physical security (locksmith) operation, while ensuring programs are aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities
Protect company assets and reduce loss through proactive physical security strategiesLead, coach, and develop the Asset Protection teamOversee the design, deployment, maintenance, and auditing of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms, fire & life safety)Conduct risk assessments, audits, and follow‑ups to support compliance and effectivenessManage vendor relationships and security‑related expendituresRepresent Loss Prevention in construction projects, interdepartmental meetings, and industry activitiesMaintain confidentiality and respond to after‑hours emergencies as requiredTravel to company locations or industry events as neededWhat You Bring
Strong leadership, communication,
and problem‑solving skillsAbility to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in emergency situationsExperience working with confidential and sensitive informationHighly organized with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesIntermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office;
AutoCAD is an asset)Ability to read blueprints and interpret security system designsEducation, Experience & Knowledge
Education in physical security, construction, or equivalent experienceExperience managing physical security systems and loss prevention programsKnowledge of retail and commercial security practices and applicable regulationsUnderstanding of security systems design, risk assessment, and construction processesFamiliarity with access control, CCTV, alarms, fire systems, and key controlProvincial security worker license (or ability to obtain additional licensing as required)Industry certifications (LPC, PSP, CPP, ASP) are assetsValid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportationLondon Drugs offers
