Allshores is seeking a talented and commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance team. This role will be responsible for helping manage legal and regulatory risk across the Group's operations in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Europe, and other Caribbean jurisdictions.This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys working closely with business leaders, supporting strategic growth initiatives, engaging with regulators, and providing practical legal advice in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting corporate governance, transactions, regulatory matters, and the day-to-day legal needs of the Group.Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Provide legal advice on applicable laws and regulatory requirements, including insurance regulation, corporate law, economic substance, trusts, sanctions, AML, regulatory licensing, data protectionTake a leadership role for supporting growth initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, product launches, market expansion and entry into recent jurisdictions.Interface with regulators on a regular basis to maintain and enhance regulatory relationships in conjunction with the Head of Compliance and Head of Regulatory ReportingDraft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements and other legal documentationMonitor,



consider and advise on legal and/or regulatory developments and their impact on The GroupCommunicate to stakeholders legal and regulatory risk and issues involved in any business decisionSupport in the preparation of regulatory submissions and communicationsAssist in the development of policies, procedures and controlsParticipate in legal and compliance projects and initiatives at a Group levelSupport improvement of standard form agreements and legal processesPartner with business leaders to manage legal and regulatory obligations and implement required regulatory changeSupport corporate governance activities including board and committee governance, corporate filings, minutes, resolutions and regulatory documentation.Assist in developing and delivering legal trainingProvide corporate support on transactions, acting as a strategic partner for the business on key initiativesSkills & Experience:Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experienceExperience interacting directly with regulators is an assetExperience supporting M&A;, reorganizations or market expansion initiatives an assetStrong technical ability and strategic thinkingStrong communication skills, delivering technical knowledge and advice in an impactful way to stakeholders.Positive analytical skills and attention to detailMotivated, organized and enthusiastic/personableAbility to establish strong rapport with internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, and develop sound and trusted relationships at Group level
