Mechanical Plumbing/HVAC Project Coordinator

Location: In Office (Full-Time)

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mechanical Plumbing Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent prospect for someone with 2–3 years of experience in the mechanical/plumbing construction industry who is looking to further develop their project coordination career.

The successful candidate will work closely with our project managers, site foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors/builders to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate project activities between subcontractors, site foremen, internal teams, and general contractors/builders.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare and issue project quotations and assist with tender pricing.
- Review mechanical plumbing drawings to identify project requirements.
- Prepare and process change orders and purchase orders.
- Obtain pricing and quotations from suppliers and vendors.
- Review shop drawings for accuracy and coordinate approvals.
- Prepare and submit project submittals in accordance with project specifications.
- Assist with project documentation, scheduling, and tracking deliverables.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support project managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.

Qualifications





- 2–3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the mechanical plumbing construction industry.
- Strong understanding of residential mechanical plumbing construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing quotations, change orders, purchase orders, and project submittals.
- Familiarity with reviewing shop drawings.
- Experience obtaining supplier pricing and coordinating procurement.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Experience with construction management software is considered an asset (Procore etc)
