stamping and electrical production preferredProficient in MS Office and databasesStatistical knowledge is an assetKnowledge of IMDS and warranty systemsDealing with suppliers and customers regarding quality issuesMust be quality minded, safety conscious & reliableAbility to work in a high pressure, fast paced environmentAbility to handle stressful situationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentOrganizational skills to keep work area clean and tidy at all timesMAIN DUTIES:Manages all aspects of a supplier relationship ensuring excellent supplier quality and deliveryEnsures supplier compliance with IATF 16949/ISO 9001 through audits as required and follows up on corrective actionsDeals with internal and external day to day quality issues. Issues QPFs and 8Ds when requiredCompletes APQP activities (PPAP, Launch/ECNs, GD&T;) and safe launchParticipates in cross functional teams for new programsPerforms internal and supplier auditsMonitors supplier performance, product quality and product launchesManages and maintains a supplier databasePrepares various weekly, monthly and annual quality reportsMonitors warranty data for Polycon and suppliersUpdates IMDS data base for new programs and componentsInteracting with suppliers and customers, review and present corrective actions for supplied componentsPerforms all job functions in a safe, healthy and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health,
