Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional client service while representing Westland Insurance professionally across phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
- Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines to ensure the right coverage and protection.
- Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow‑up communication.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross‑selling and up‑selling products.
- Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day‑to‑day operations as needed.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience,



supported by a Level 2 License and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided).
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling more complex client needs, with the ability to provide tailored coverage recommendations.
- A proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and identify opportunities to grow and retain business.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and contributing to team success.
- Professional, solutions‑focused, and an effective communicator who demonstrates sound judgment and integrity in every client interaction.
