It requires strong organizational skills, professional phone etiquette, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The role holder would be required to work from our Jarvis office 2-3 times weekly.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, review,



and assign loss inspection requests to appropriate loss prevention inspectors while optimizing travel routes and inspector workloadsMonitor the progress of inspection assignments to ensure timely completion and quality standards are metCollect, review and upload inspection reports, photos and supporting documents into company system (MIRA360, Cognition + and CHRP)Review and distribute Risk Improvement Reports on behalf of Nova and follow up on requirements within established timeframesCollaborate with underwriters, loss prevention inspectors, claims adjusters, brokers, and agents and policy holders to support timely resolution of inspection findings.Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives loss prevention processes Participate in quarterly cross-functional meetings to support continuous improvement of loss prevention and processesProvide onsite administrative support for the Jarvis office during in-office daysQualificationsEducation in Insurance or a related field of study1-3 years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or inspection coordinationPrevious experience in scheduling and/or cold calling is considered an assetDemonstrated ability to prioritize effectively while managing multiple tasksStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsDemonstrated excellence in customer serviceKnowledge of insurance or loss control processesProficiency in software applications specific to the role is an advantage - MIRA360, CHRP, Cognition+, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work from Jarvis office 2-3days each weekWhy Join Us?A supportive, inclusive, and mission-driven cultureCompetitive compensation and benefits packageThe chance to shape the future of underwriting in a growing modern mutualA workplace that values people, innovation, and community impactReady to Make a Difference?Nova Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
