A New and Exciting Opportunity Awaits!We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant. Working as an integral part of our team corporate team you will manage full cycle accounting for our stores, in addition to assisting the CFO with ad hoc analysis.You must be available 9am-5pm PST.This is an in office role.

- Process vendor invoices and respond to vendor inquiries
- Entering and Processing Payroll in third party Payroll Service Provider (ADP, Ceridian, QuickBooks)
- Prepare Office Deposits
- Post & Reconcile A/R payments
- Audit sales deposits
- Clerical duties such as logging, filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying
- Execute additional tasks and reports as needed
- Preparation of monthly financial statements including all journal entries on an accrual basis
- Preparation of year end working papers for external auditors, respond to year-end enquiries and record all auditor’s adjusting entries
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations
- Balance general ledger accounts as necessary
- Payroll and source deductions




- Preparation of all government remittances (HST, WSIB) for payment
- Reporting to management on pertinent accounting details
- Support the CFO in Head Office expense management and record management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year

- 5+ years of full cycle accounting
- Pharmacy bookkeeping experience is an asset
- Sage50 Accounting experience is an asset
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong organizational skills, experience in prioritizing work and strong ability to multitask
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy of work

In order to qualify for this role, you will have previous bookkeeping and accounting experience. You will be a valuable fit for this role if you are an effective communicator with strong organizational skills. You will also have well developed interpersonal skills. Attention is detail will be critical.
