This role provides hands-on experience across multiple business functions, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and process support.The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, enjoys working with data, and has strong communication skills.Main AccountabilitiesAssist with data entry, validation, and maintenance of recordsPerform basic data analysis (trend analysis, variance checks, etc.)Update and maintain databasesHelp with reporting and analysis related to workforce dataMaintain procurement records, vendor data, and purchase ordersClean, analyze, and validate large datasets using ExcelCreate reports,



pivot tables, and dashboards to support decision-makingAssist with process improvement initiatives and workflow efficienciesProvide administrative support across teams as neededMain QualificationsCurrently enrolled in Business, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsCompensationThe expected salary range for this position is CAD $30 per hour, aligned with Baffinland’s approved compensation framework and current market conditions.Salary ranges are provided as guidelines.
