ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities

- Assist the Branch Manager with all day-to-day operations
- Promote and enforce health and safety standards while leading by example
- Lead and supervise employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Coordinate dispatch, claims, OS&D;, and other operational activities
- Complete administrative duties and required reports within established deadlines
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure customer satisfaction




- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of trucks and equipment in coordination with the shop
- Build and maintain community relationships to promote the company’s image and corporate sponsorships

Qualifications

- Motivated, customer-focused individual with leadership potential
- Valid Class 5 drivers license but valid class 1A is an asset
- Basic computer and strong communication skills
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to operational needs (flexible hours and days as required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
