Note that "MAT-like" courses offered in different departments do not count towards the FCE requirement as they do not adhere to the standards of rigour used in mathematics courses. In the alternative, applicants whose portfolio includes at least 2.0 FCEs of MAT specialist classes will be deemed to have satisfied the FCE requirement.
